2025 in Photos

2025 has been another spectacularly busy year at TMD, with brands being launched, websites being developed, profitable events being delivered… and more!

Here’s some of the highlights:

Self-Driving Goes Mainstream

Chris started the year in San Francisco, where he experienced a self-driving taxi, thanks to Google-owned Waymo.

While this service has had some rollout problems (which is hardly surprising!) the numbers show that they are significantly safer than human-driven cars.

Love or hate the idea, the UK is set to introduce self-driving vehicles in 2026.

DeCarbScotland 2025

We delivered the third DeCarbScotland in March at the John McIntyre Conference Centre, for NECCUS, the industrial decarbonisation trade body. Building on the successful 2023 and 2024 events, we again delivered end-to-end event management including: strategic branding and targeted marketing campaigns to attract sponsors and delegates, speaker management, security oversight in cooperation with the venue and Police Scotland, AV and technical management, execution of the conference’s gala dinner, and presentation of the NECCUS’s Young Professional Award.

A Top-to-Bottom Rebrand Begins

In mid March we held the first meeting of the Rebrand Focus Group, convened as part of the rebrand strategy for the Glasgow Council on Alcohol.

The RFG ensured that the TMD team would have input from all levels of the organisation during the rebrand process and the development of the new website and digital strategy.

The new name for GCA - Murray’s Initiative - was developed by us after intensive consultation, and was announced in November after an intense brand and website development process.

The New PEEK Launches

March was a busy month! We also launched the refreshed PEEK branding and website for this groundbreaking Glasgow charity which has been a trusted presence in Glasgow’s east end communities since the year 2000.

The new branding gives the PEEK team a strong visual base for their ongoing development, income diversification efforts and events.

The new website, the cornerstone of the PEEK’s new communications strategy with all stakeholders groups, replaces an out of date system which was difficult to update.

We (sometimes) let our hair down

In early May, Team TMD took the afternoon off to go to Escape Glasgow for a team building day.

This was a huge amount of fun - we highly recommend it for small teams like ours!

A New Market

In the summer, we launched Revolutionize for Dr Thomas Detert, ho has experienced the incredible highs - and incredible lows - of a career in dentistry.

Revolutionize empowers dental professionals to take control - once and for all. The goal: a more empowering career, and a more fulfilling life in and outside of work.

We assisted Dr Detert by creating the branding system for his new business, including the development of a new website to act as part of the sales funnel for this ambitious new business.

Welcome, Morven!

A few years ago, we unveiled Caledonia - or Cal, as they’re now fondly known - a mascot for Autistic Pride, designed by an autistic member of our TMD team.

This summer, we were excited to introduce Morven, Cal’s adorable baby!

These mascots have become cheerful, meaningful symbols for Autistic Pride, popping up everywhere from email campaigns to hoodies and t-shirts. It’s been amazing to see them out in the world helping to spread the message of pride and inclusion.

Thoughtful design can bring so much heart and impact to events, campaigns, and community initiatives.

A Platform for the Future

Having been let down by another agency, MISS - Miscarriage Support, turned to us to develop their much-needed new website.

We worked collaboratively with the MISS team to ensure that the website is both functional and compassionate, serves as a space that reflects their values and gives the community the tools it needs.

Featuring an extensive information library, donation capability and a well planned user journey and on-band user experience, the website is a platform for the MISS team to use as they expand and launch new initiatives.

Since the launch of the website, we’ve been commissioned to execute extra design and strategy work to assist with growth and income diversification.

Brussels Design Museum

In June, Chris visited the Brussels Design Museum, the country’s only museum dedicated to 20th and 21st-century design.

Located in Heysel Park, the museum focuses on how everyday objects like chairs, lamps, and toys reflect societal changes through design, especially plastics in its Plastic Design Collection and Belgian design.

Chris was shocked to see the computers of his childhood as museum pieces - the original iMac (1998), and the original iBook (1999) - reminding him that he turned 40 only days before!

We Deepened Our Collaborative Relationships

No agency can do it all alone.

We rely on a network of external providers to help us bring our projects to fruition, from software developers to trademark attorneys to photographers.

These portraits - taken by noted commercial photographer Chris Logue - were taken for the new Murray’s Initiative website.

We Continued to Engage with the Third Sector

Since 2016, we have supported charities on a pro bono basis through our relationship with Inspiring Soctland’s Professional Volunteering network.

This continued in 2025, with us delivering a free marketing strategy workshop and offering pro bono hours to several charities across Scotland.

On 3 September we were delighted to attend the Civic Reception in Glasgow City Chambers, hosted by the Depute Lord Provost, celebrating volunteering through Inspiring Scotland.

We Onboarded Great New Clients

… and enjoyed visits to their premises!

We started working with TÜV SÜD to create promotional images, videos and other assets to support their ASMEA Flow Measurement Workshop, being held in Abu Dhabi next year, and their Global Flow Measurement Workshop, being held in Edinburgh.

TÜV SÜD operates the National Engineering Laboratory, a global leader in flow meter calibration and testing, research & development, and consultancy.

We Unveiled Murray’s Initiative to the World

On November 6, the work that started in March was unveiled to the world as Lesley Ross, CEO of the newly-renamed Murray’s Initiative took the the stage at the 60th Anniversary Celebration, and unveiled the new name and style.

We assisted in the planning and delivery of the 60th Anniversary Celebration, including taking on post-production of videos after initial filming to tell the story of this exceptional charity.

We Finished the Year on a High

As the year came to a close, we took a moment to reflect on just how much had been achieved. The final months of 2025 saw major pieces of work come together, partnerships reach important milestones, and long-running projects finally unveiled to the world - an energising way to end a busy year.

More than anything, finishing the year on a high reinforced our confidence in the direction we’re heading.

With strong client relationships, trusted collaborators, and a clear sense of purpose, we’re heading into the new year motivated, focused, and excited for what’s next.
