DeCarbScotland 2025
On 13 March 2025, industry leaders and policymakers convened at Edinburgh’s John McIntyre Conference Centre for Scotland’s premier industrial decarbonisation event. As trade body NECCUS’s flagship annual conference, DeCarbScotland continues to drive crucial dialogue on achieving net zero across Scotland’s heavy industries.

Building on the successful DeCarbScotland 2023 and 2024 events, we again delivered end-to-end event management including: strategic branding and targeted marketing campaigns to attract sponsors and delegates, speaker management, security oversight in cooperation with the venue and Police Scotland, AV and technical management, execution of the conference’s gala dinner, and presentation of the NECCUS’s Young Professional Award.
To drive attendance we delivered a focused, multi-channel marketing campaign tailored to Scotland’s industrial decarbonisation sector. We developed strategic messaging and special off, which we promoted through targeted digital advertising, direct outreach, and sector-specific media. A mix of pre-event speaker highlights, email campaigns, and programme previews helped build momentum, while the strong and easy to use conference website made it straightforward for delegates to secure tickets by online payment.
“Events are an often overlooked means of revenue for all sorts of organisations. Trade bodies, in particular, stand to gain large surpluses from investing in events programmes - not only do events bring members together and stimulate collaboration, but they open the door to potential new members. They also raise brand awareness and visibility, often way above and beyond the existing stakeholder group.”
- Chris Graham, CEO & Founder of TMD
As the flagship annual conference of the sector's representative body, the event highlighted:
Emerging technologies in carbon capture and hydrogen.
Critical supply chain development needs.
Policy frameworks enabling Scotland’s just transition.
As Scotland’s industrial decarbonisation landscape matures, DeCarbScotland remains the platform for transforming ambition into action. We’re proud to contribute to these vital conversations through our event expertise.
A major focus of our work in the run up to work with the NECCUS team to devise suitable sponsorship packages, which we then took to market. Building on our relationships with key players in the sector, a combination of digital campaigns and paid advertising, we exceeded our targets and secured a range of sponsors from private, public and governmental stakeholders who are keen not only to promote themselves as leading the way on industrial decarbonisation.

“A fantastic event. The range of sessions on offer were fantastic and the speakers were excellent in highlighting the opportunities that could come but also taking a realistic approach to where the sector is currently positioned and the challenges that are being faced.
The venue worked well with the rooms all being well signposted. The areas for networking were excellent and our stand was busy through the day. Well done to the NECCUS team for delivering another outstanding conference!”
