Autism Understanding Scotland (AUScot) is a professional autistic led service dedicated to helping people deepen their knowledge and understanding of autism.

For those living in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, AUScot offers 1:1 support sessions to help increase understanding of autism and build support strategies for autistic people, their supporters, and professionals working with families and autistic adults.

AUScot also has an Employment Specialist who supports local autistic adults to seek and access reasonable adjustments in employment, and also works with local businesses and organisations who are ambitious about inclusion at work.

The charity started life as a project called One Stop Shop but as the work of the project grew, it was decided that formal incorporation as a SCIO was required. TMD was then asked to develop a visual brand and website for the new organisation. We also assisted with creation of the new name for the charity, and we will be working long term to support AUScot’s ongoing communications and digital strategy.

Funding from the Scottish Government and Inspiring Scotland secured

"When we began thinking about rebranding our organisation, we were thrilled to connect with TMD. Their impressive portfolio meant we felt confident we were in good hands.

Throughout the initial consultation process we felt listened to and respected. As an autistic led organisation, we were impressed that Chris and James took the time to get to know autistic history and culture, and used that knowledge to create a stunning logo to mark our new start.

We feel our new brand is one that really represents who we are, what we are about, and where we have come from. We appreciate the dedication and consideration put into every aspect of our partnership. Highly professional and approachable, we look forward to continuing to work with the TMD team, and highly recommend them for anyone wishing to update their brand."
