Call For & Submission of Abstracts

Abstracts are now invited from operators, service and supply companies, manufacturers, consultants, regulators, researchers, standard bodies and academia.

Your abstract should be 200-500 maximum words in length with no pictures or illustrations. The Presenting Author of accepted abstracts will be expected to attend the Workshop and deliver their presentation in English.

Deadline Details

  • Abstract Submission Deadline: 27 March 2026

  • Notification of Acceptance: 24 April 2026

  • Technical Paper Submission: 4 September 2026

  • Submission of PowerPoint: 11 September 2026

    • A Powerpoint presentation of no more than 20 minutes with a 5-10 minute chaired question and answer session.

Failure to meet these deadlines will result in the Workshop Committee withdrawing your paper programme.

Topics of Interest

The conference is accepting papers from upstream, midstream and downstream organisations involved in the energy transition, from oil and gas to hydrogen and CCUS. The Technical Committee is interested in receiving papers representing all aspects of flow measurement, uncertainty and quality improvement, but the following topics are particularly relevant:

  • Field experience in all areas, particularly the use of multiphase and digital technology,

  • New energy, transportation, standards, and measurement challenges in hydrogen and carbon dioxide,

  • Measurement of emissions, including top-down & bottom-up measurement approaches and compositional analysis,

  • Transmission, networks and pipelines,

  • Artificial Intelligence applications in flow measurement,

  • Produced water and fresh water management,

  • New technologies & innovations improving quality of measurement.

To maintain the practical aspect of the event, case-study style papers and those led by end-users will be given priority.
